A large 7.6-magnitude earthquake struck the Caribbean on Saturday night, triggering a tsunami threat as far away as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The quake struck 209 kilometers (about 130 miles) south-southwest of Georgetown, Cayman Islands, at 6:23 local time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
